THREE SMALL MOVES

Hold the before and after.

01 / SCRUB

Find the first moment.

Scrub the local preview and press “Use current position for A”. Repeat for B at the other moment.

02 / COMPARE

Choose side or wipe.

Side by side keeps both frames whole. Wipe stacks them and lets a divider reveal the change.

03 / KEEP

Download the image.

A PNG is composed at the captured frame size, with A and B labels and timestamps drawn in.

WHAT YOU CAN SEE

Change is easier side by side.

01

Framing and continuity.

A small camera move or lighting drift is hard to spot while scrubbing. Two stills make it obvious.

02

A wipe for the same shot.

When both moments share a composition, the wipe divider shows exactly where pixels moved.

03

A clean export.

The downloaded PNG is composed locally at up to 1600 pixels per frame. Nothing is uploaded.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you compare.

Can I compare two different videos?

Not in this release. Both moments come from one local video, which keeps the comparison honest and the interface simple.

Is the comparison frame-accurate?

It is time-based. The browser seeks to each timestamp and captures the nearest displayable frame, so variable-frame-rate videos can land slightly differently.

What size is the downloaded image?

Each captured frame is capped at 1600 pixels on its longest edge. Side-by-side mode doubles the width with a small gap; wipe mode keeps a single frame size.

Does the wipe affect the download?

Yes. The PNG matches the current view: side by side, or the wipe at the divider position you left it.

Is my video uploaded?

No. The file is decoded in this tab and both frames are drawn to a local canvas. There is no upload endpoint or account.
